Open Settings → API Settings, choose a service, and enter the service URL and model. Remote services also need an API key; local Ollama does not need a real key.

The API key is stored only in the macOS Keychain under com.qlmf.QLLaunch.ai-api-key, with After first unlock, this device only access. It is not written to layouts, iCloud backups, or exported configuration.

Choose Always Allow when macOS asks for Keychain access. If you denied it, delete the item in Keychain Access and save the key again.

Remote endpoints must use HTTPS; only use custom endpoints you trust. AI receives only the data needed by the feature; file contents are not uploaded.

Use Test AI to verify the connection. Check 401/403, 404 model names, 429 limits, network, and proxy settings on failure.
